Omnivex IOLink provides your hardware devices with a direct 2-way connection to your Omnivex DataPipe Server. You can have IOLink respond to hardware device changes by changing content on your Data Server. Conversely, you can have IOLink watch resident data on your Data Server and when there is a data change IOLink sends a message to your hardware device.
IOLink adds hardware connectivity to your DataPipe Server. This extends the possibility of adding interactivity to your digital signage network by providing you with an option to use hardware devices as well.
With IOLink you can connect to and interact with the following device types: Card Reader, RFID, GPS, DataPipe Cell, ICP Digital I/O Module, RS-232, alarmCHARGE HUB, Time, USB Digital Input.
(Must be compiant with Omnivex specifications)
Now you can entertain interactive design options that never used to be on the table.
